Description: This system is used to perform powder x-ray diffraction on solid materials to characterize crystalline structure. Options for small angel x-ray scattering (SAXS) are available. The system includes both parallel beam optics and Bragg-Brentano optics. The high temperature attachment is capable of operation up to 1500 C in air. Texture and residual stress measurements are supported using the eulerian cradle attachment.
