Description: Utilizes a thermoanalytical technique in which the difference in the amount of heat required to increase the temperature of a sample and reference is measured as a function of temperature. Includes a 50-position autosampler, a digital mass flow controller, and modulated DSC technology. The MDSC allows for increased sensitivity for detecting weak transitions and melts and also seperates complex transitions into kinetic and thermodynamic components. Mainly used for high temperatures, but can range from -180C to 725C.
